CadaNiño

Children born into families in at-risk communities in Guatemala face immense challenges in life. Many of them struggle to succeed in school due to limited resources and assistance. CadaNiño works to serve vulnerable children and families in the communities of Colonia Santa Fe and San Jose Pinula through programs at the community centers they run. It is a ministry grounded in scripture that wholeheartedly believes in the power of the Gospel to change lives and impact communities.

Through educational reinforcement, spiritual formation, and family strengthening programs, they work to come alongside families in difficult places to help equip children for success. By placing a strong emphasis on S.T.E.M. students develop computer science skills that will enable them to succeed in a technology-filled world.

Orphan Outreach has worked with CadaNiño founder Timothy Martiny since 2012 to equip its ministry partners throughout Guatemala with computer training facilities and technological support. In 2018, the two ministries officially became partners. Orphan Outreach provides resources and support to CadaNiño, which enables more children to benefit from the high-quality that is being done to strengthen and preserve vulnerable families. Support is provided in many ways, including child sponsorship and mission teams.

Additionally, the two organizations are working to refine the educational model developed by CadaNiño and implement it with other partners including the Outreach Center at Pagquacal.

CadaNiño was founded in 2005 by Timothy & Sharie Martiny; a missionary family committed to serving vulnerable children and orphans in Guatemala. Serving in orphanages in Guatemala since 2002, they spent many years working in residential care facilities teaching vocational training, working in discipleship, and assisting children as they aged out of orphanages.

Their years of experience led them to branch out and create programs that serve children and families in the communities where many children in the orphanages were coming from in the hope of reducing the number of children placed in the orphan care system.
