Joseph's DreamCoat Adoption Grants
Thank you for your interest in a Joseph’s DreamCoat Adoption Grant. The coronavirus has impacted many individuals and organizations around the world, including Orphan Outreach.
Our utmost priority is the health and safety of the orphaned and vulnerable children we serve, including families going through the adoption process. Due to the restriction on travel posed by various governments, and in our desire to help “flatten the curve” by minimizing travel, it is in the best interest of the children we serve to pause our adoption grants indefinitely. This decision comes after much prayer and careful consideration.
We are following organizations such as the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO), as well as leaning on international program directors and staff for help on decisions, as COVID-19 is causing plans to rapidly change. Once the restrictions have lifted, and we feel it is safe to resume normal activities, we will restart our adoption grant program.
Thanks for your understanding and patience. We are keeping your families in our prayers.
Caring for orphans is a demonstration of God’s love pouring in and through us to the most vulnerable in our world. For some of us, that love is shown through child sponsorship or through sharing our time and our gifts as we journey around the world to minister at schools, children’s homes, and community outreach centers.
For some of us, opening our hearts means opening our homes through adoption.
We want to see orphans placed in safe, nurturing, Christian homes, where the child will not only experience the love of Jesus Christ, but meet the person of Jesus through the permanent care of a forever family.
Joseph’s DreamCoat provides adoption grants to families who are committed and faithful Christ-followers. We have a special place in our hearts for pastors and ministry leaders who may long for adoption but find the costs to be prohibitive. Our application process is designed to focus on the heart of the family itself – on your values and spiritual well-being, and why adoption is important to you and the child.
Josephs DreamCoat was started by Jay and Jennifer Kassing after the adoption of a son from Guatemala. Joseph’s DreamCoat has been part of the Orphan Outreach family since 2016.
