The Problem

Fifteen million children in the United States don't have access to school supplies.

Without basics like paper, pencils, notebooks, glue sticks, and crayons, those children can't participate in regular school activities and assignments.

Access to school supplies aids in attendance and helps children feel included and engaged.

Our Response

Orphan Outreach responds to the needs of orphaned and vulnerable children in United States in 2 ways:

We partner with businesses and organizations to provide basic educational resources to children in underserved communities.

We partner with other ministries committed to providing tangible hope through mentorship, continuing education, job and life skills training, and wraparound care.

Joseph's DreamCoat

Joseph’s DreamCoat provides adoption grants to families who are committed and faithful Christ-followers. We have a special place in our hearts for pastors and ministry leaders who may long for adoption but find the costs to be prohibitive. Our application process is designed to focus on the heart of the family itself – on your values and spiritual well-being, and why adoption is important to you and the child.

NVIDIA Backpacks for Kids, communities throughout the United States

In underserved communities throughout the country, thousands of children lack the supplies needed to be successful in the classroom. NVIDIA employees share a passion for supporting the communities in which the technology leader does business. Orphan Outreach provides much-needed administrative support to NVIDIA so that its employees can ensure backpacks and school supplies are ready to meet this critical need.
