WHAT WE REQUIRE
Applicants must be Christian, agreeing to and living by Orphan Outreach’s statement of faith.
The adoption home study must be complete and approved.
Both personal and pastoral references must be included.
WHAT WE LOOK FOR
Our application process is designed to help us assess the applicant’s heart for adoption, the spiritual wellness of the adoptive family, the family’s educational and parenting values, its biblical stewardship, and the overall environment in which the child will be place. Finances are secondary to these in our evaluation.
We have a special heart to provide grants to pastors and those in ministry leadership.
Applicants who have been officially matched and can demonstrate a funding status minimum of 70% raised will receive priority in the review process.
All grant awards will be distributed directly to the adoption agency of record. Should your Joseph’s DreamCoat grant exceed the amount owed to that agency, it will be adjusted accordingly. For example, if your awarded grant is $6000, and only $4000 is needed to complete the adoption, only $4000 will be distributed.
ADOPTION EXPENSES THAT DO NOT MEET OUR ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE:
Post-adoption fees (medical, educational, etc.)
GRANTS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED FOR:
Independent adoptions through lawyers, facilitators, or humanitarian organizations licensed to place children.
Adoptions from non-Hague Convention countries.
Adoptions for which placement has already been finalized.
Please confirm that you meet all the following requirements before moving on to the application:
