JOY FM listeners are heading to Guatemala this summer for a unique mission trip.
We will spend time in a village where teenagers are encouraged to make a living on the streets instead of getting an education. Most teens and families in this region don’t know anyone who has completed their high school education.
You can help…
Orphan Outreach has a new care center that is supporting and encouraging students to stay in school and learn skills that will open opportunities and change the trajectory of their lives (and their families).
$100 Provides a table and stools
Tables so that their clothes and food don’t have to remain on the dirt floor.
$400 Provides a bunkbed and mattresses
Beds because many of the teenagers sleep in the same “bed” (usually on the floor) with their parents and siblings. Bunk beds will foster a healthier environment for everyone in the family.
