As you may know, Melisa lives with her parents and older brother. Her mother does embroidery and her father weaves cortes (traditional handmade fabric used for a skirt) to earn a living. Her responsibilities at home are doing household chores and studying for school. When asked what she likes best about herself, Melisa said, "My courage, my respect, and my feelings." In addition to this, her friends often find her to be incredibly kind and outgoing. In her free time, Melisa enjoys going for walks and singing. She also works out and believes she is gifted in this area. You can often find her eating her favorite meal: fried fish and hot coffee. Melisa loves school and is most proud of herself for passing every grade without failing. Her goals for the next few years are to pass her classes successfully, go to university, and help her parents. After university, Melisa plans to become a doctor. She is currently studying medicine in high school to prepare for this! Melisa loves the Bible verse Matthew 7:7-12 and asks that you pray for her family and her studies. Keimy is known to be a shy, yet cheerful girl who enjoys playing soccer and basketball. She also finds dancing to be a special talent of hers! When asked what she likes best about herself, Keimy said, "my personality, my character, and my positivity." Her goals for the next few years are to complete 9th grade and successfully complete high school. Keimy is proud to have made it to 9th grade, and she hopes to continue her studies so she can obtain a career she truly loves. As you may know, Liria lives with her parents and two older siblings. Her mother is an artisan, working with beads, and her father is a field laborer. Liria is also active and loves to play sports, especially basketball and soccer. She finds basketball and dancing to be two of her most special talents. Though she has many different accomplishments, Liria is incredibly proud of herself for completing seventh grade without difficulty. Those who know Dolores best say that she is an active young girl. When asked what she likes about herself, she replied, "I am a good person, and I am sociable with others." She loves any opportunity to be around people! Dolores spends her free time playing basketball and singing, special talents of hers. Those who know her best say that she is a reserved and hardworking young woman. This has paid off in her performance in school. In the next few years, Elizabeth hopes to continue her studies, pass each class, become a nurse, and study law. As you can see, she is interested in two careers, but has not yet decided which one she will pursue long-term. When asked what accomplishments she is most proud of, Elizabeth replied, "Seeing my parents give everything for me. And in two months, I dedicate myself to God by being baptized!"
