Ministry programs and partnerships this trip will visit include: Casa Josefina - Cusco Orphan Outreach will support the work of this respected transitional home caring for abandoned and at-risk children aged 0-5. Casa Josefina emphasizes permanency through reintegration and adoption and promotes sustainable family-based care options such as foster care. The organization provides nurturing care, medical attention, and emotional support, as well as actively advocating for improved child welfare practices and foster care development in Cusco. Jóvenes con Propósito (JCP) – Cusco
Orphan Outreach will work alongside JCP in their ongoing ministry to equip young adults with life skills, education, and emotional resilience, as well as explore the development of an aging-out program in Cusco to provide continuity and support to youth graduating from JCP and those transitioning from residential care or the child protective system. Government-Run Orphanages - Cusco Orphan Outreach will work alongside national and local governments to support the child protection system and government-run residential facilities. This includes providing humanitarian aid, encouragement, and the love of Christ through mission teams, church partnerships, and public-private initiatives that strengthen the continuum of care and diversify care options for children.
