PRAISES
Praise the Lord for providing school supplies for all the students we support as they go back to school. Pray for the children as they begin classes in Guatemala and Honduras and start again in India and Russia.





PRAYER REQUESTS 
Guatemala
Pastor Diego has been ill. Please be in prayer over his health and his family. Also pray for Good Shepherd Christian School and the church he pastors while he takes some time off to recover.

Honduras
We praise God for our new case manager, Wendy Figuero, for AFE. She will be assessing and evaluating the students' progress and identifying how to best meet their needs to help them succeed in school. Also pray for Katherine Cheng as she travels next week to provide training. Please pray for Wendy as she begins this new position.

India
The team of 7 individuals from Rockwall, TX who served in Pune, India had an amazing time. They were able to celebrate Christmas, among other things, with the kids at Santvana AIDS Home. New shoes for each child and gift bags filled with toys and snacks were set up under a Christmas tree. The kids were filled with joy as they walked into their home to see a Christmas tree with gifts for each of them under it. The team shared with them about how Jesus is our ultimate gift and that every other good and perfect gift comes from Him.





Pray for Dr. Edwards as she continues to grieve the loss of her husband and for the Santvana program's need for staff.

Haiti
Continue to pray for the orphans and families in Haiti. Orphan Outreach has sent humanitarian aide and backpacks that will be going to Haiti soon in connection with our partnership with Florida Baptist Children's Homes. Orphanage #60
in Russia

Pictured above is a group of kids from Orphanage #60, from left to right: Maxim, Roma, Olesya, Mish and Nikita. The little boy is the son of one of the caregivers.


Please pray for these children, for their health, studies, and for their future. Also pray for their relationships with each other and with the caregivers. They have no parents, but they are learning about their Heavenly Father and His love for them through the Gospel that is regularly shared at their Bible class, which they love.



Olesya is 11 years old. One family took her home, but a couple of months later they brought her back to the orphanage. This is just one example of the hurt and hardships many children face from being orphaned. Their circumstances make them vulnerable to low self-esteem and other emotional struggles.

Pray for guidance over Director Nadezhda and Assistant Director Svetlana. Pray for their leadership and the work they do to care for the 50 children at Orphanage #60. There is always a need for more volunteers to come and love on these kids and share the truth of God's Word. Pray that God would bring people from the local church to serve and be the light of Christ.
