SCRIPTURE VERSE
"Prepare the way for the Lord; make straight in the wilderness a highway for our God.
Every valley shall be raised up, every mountain and hill made low; the rough ground
shall become level, the rugged places a plain. And the glory of the Lord will be revealed,
and all mankind together will see it. For the mouth of the Lord has spoken."
Isaiah 40:3-5

PRAISES

We are thankful to have a contracted Grant Researcher working with us to research and apply for grant proposals and funding sources for Orphan Outreach programs. Praise the Lord for receiving official approval by the U.S. goverment to apply for grants. Pray that we would continue to trust the Lord and His provision for funding the things He would have us accomplish.

In addition, we are happy to have, Michael Miranda, serve with us as our Online Marketing summer intern through the ExxonMobil Community Summer Jobs Program.

PRAYER REQUEST
Guatemala
Pray specifically for 2 summer interns as they leave this Friday for Guatemala. Pray for safe travels, for God to work and stretch these women to love the people of Guatemala with the love of Jesus, for lives to be changed and for God to be glorified through it all.

Honduras
Thank you for your continued prayers regarding the loading and shipment of WaYfm's 40-foot container. Due to the 7.1 earthquake that hit Honduras last week, the container was delayed. But thankfully it is currently in route to Tegucigalpa. Continue to pray for the arrival of the container and for the WaYfm team as they prepare to leave in less than two weeks. They will be building a new playground, constructing homes, providing medical care and sharing Christ with children and families throughout Honduras from June 14 to 26. Click here for updates about the trip.

India

Praise God for his provision in setting up a local trust (non-profit organization) in India. Continue to pray for our work and the children we serve there. Click here to read a story about 2 girls rescued from the Red Light Area.

We are thankful to have Samson Parekh, our director of missions in India, on staff at Orphan Outreach. Please continue to pray for Samson as he transitions into this new position.

Russia
We are thankful for all the generous donors who have recently provided support to our 60 orphan graduates. Those in Luga recently received gift bags with an electric kettle, dinnerware, and towels  (see picture below). Please continue to pray for graduates like Katya, pictured right, as they have transistioned out of the orphanage into independent living.

Summer Mission Trips
Please continue to pray for our 18 summer interns as they prepare for their upcoming trips. Nine of them leave in June and nine in July. Also pray for the additional 11 trips we have going out this summer. Pray that the light of Christ would shine through trip participants and that the people they will be serving would come to know and love Him.

Please Pray for
Katya
in Russia.

Katya Gamsaeva, 18 years old, came to the Nikolsky orphanage 3 years ago when both her parents died. She has no other family and no home. Katya is a good, hard-working student and graduates this year. She plans to go to the University and hopes to become a public prosecutor.

She asks that we pray for her examinations she has in July. In addition, pray for God's protection in Katya's life as she begins to choose the right university and make plans about her future. Pray that God would give her wisdom and continue to teach her through the Bible class she attends at the orphanage.

Pray for our staff in Russia, the caseworkers and volunteers who have dedicated their time and effort to serving graduates and supporting them as they transition. We trust that God is sovereign and that He is able to do more than we could ever ask or imagine in the life of Katya and many others.
