SCRIPTURE VERSE
Jesus said, "I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies;
and whoever lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this?"
- John 11:25-26
PRAISES

Praise the Lord for his Son Jesus Christ who conquered sin and death on the cross.  We pray that the grace and love of our Savior would penetrate your hearts as you celebrate Him this Easter.

 We are so thankful to God for his unconditional love for us and His continual protection of each ministry in each country.

 Praise the Lord for a generous donation recently received, enabling AFE to complete its high school and cafeteria.  To read more about this school in Honduras, click here.

Praise the Lord for funding received from 121 Community Church in Grapevine, Texas for the Justice Project at the dump in Honduras, which will keep children from working in the dump.  We are also thankful for the local partners helping with this project: ASJ (an affiliate ministry of International Justice Mission in Honduras) and the mayor's office in Honduras.

Pray for Delmi and Maria, students at the Proverbs 22:6 School in Honduras
Orphan Outreach partners with Proverbs 22:6 School in Tegucigalpa, Honduras by sponsoring children from marginal communities, like Nueva Suyapa, to attend this school that is outside their community. Many of the children on scholarship come from single mother families that make about $100 a month or less and live in extreme poverty. Some children don’t even live with their biological parents, but are instead cared for by a relative. They come to Proverbs School, where they are offered a better education and an opportunity to succeed in life.

With the help of generous supporters, Orphan Outreach is currently providing scholarships for two sisters, Delmi and Maria (pictured above) at Proverbs. Their father was tragically murdered about 2-1/2 years ago. Their mother is a strong, positive and loving woman who tries to provide the best for her children and desires a Christian education for her daughters. She works hard and supports herself by cleaning houses, making approximately $75 a month.  The two girls were in public school last year, but now they are happier than ever at Proverbs.  The mother said that she has never seen them work so hard and they are excited every day to come home and do their homework.  The mother is thrilled that the girls are in such a good school and that the teachers care for them. Both girls are doing really well in school as well.  The scholarship allows the girls to be surrounded with love and attention from many teachers and staff at the school.

Praise Him for providing an education for these two precious girls and a mother who loves them. Please pray for continued provision for the family and that the girls would continue to succeed in school. Also, pray that the Lord provides additional funding for the students at Proverbs School. It needs a total of $5,000 through the end of this year in order to fund the needs of the students. Scholarship money covers tuition, school supplies, and uniforms.
